STORY 12 — THE BIRTH OF THE UNDERWEAR

Underwear became the vessel back in 2015 as a method of exploring the form. Underwear also acts a symbolic object that carried memory, desire, glamour, and narrative. Every brief I design holds a lineage, from my uncles’ quiet pride, to Brazilian sensuality, to Parisian clarity, to the mythic quarterback, to the mending hands of my grandmother. COUTUREBOY is the convergence of all these frequencies into a single layer of cloth.
